Athletic Registration Information/Requirements
*ALL STUDENTS WHO PARTICIPATED IN SEASON ONE WORKOUTS SHOULD HAVE A VERY EASY REGISTRATION PROCESS AS THE INFORMATION HAS BEEN SAVED.*

If your child has played a sport previously at West Linn HS – please login to your account and add sport. If not, you will need to create a new account. Please note that these account are secure and if you forgot your password, you will need to reset or contact the company if you cannot get in.
Our Athletic Assistant, Stephanie Kensinger, will be the only person to complete the registration by adding a current physical.
The only hard copy form you need to bring to clearance is an OSAA Physical Form, if your physical is older than two years.
If the parent needs to check to see if physical is still valid they can email the Athletic Assistant Stephanie Kensinger at kensings@wlwv.k12.or.us

Fees for Sports
This year we will have a $100 flat fee. This $100 covers any student for the entire year if they play only one, or all three sports.

Eligibility

Academic Eligibility

For purposes of this rule, a full time student is one who is enrolled in high school, attending regularly and passing in courses offered by a high school, college, work experience or other school-approved educational activities (including summer school or night school) equivalent to at least the quantity listed on the appropriate line of the chart below.  In addition, a full time student shall have been enrolled in school, attended regularly and passed subjects equivalent to at least the quantity listed on the appropriate line of the chart below during the immediate preceding transcripted grading period.

NOTE:  In this example, two (2) units equals one (1) credit of work, and one-half credit is granted each transcripted grading period.

EXCEPTION:  The requirement for immediately preceding transcripted grading period credit is inapplicable to a student who has not previously enrolled in any high school offering the 10th, 11th or 12th grades.

8.1.2.         Satisfactory Progress Toward Graduation.  In addition to the specific credit requirement identified in Rule 8.1.1., to be scholastically eligible, a student must be making satisfactory progress towards the school’s graduation requirements by earning a minimum of the quantity of credits indicated on the chart below prior to the start of the specified year.

Minimum Satisfactory Progress Requirements

West Linn Credits Required to Graduate: 24 Total

Credits Possible to Earn Per Year: 6

Credits Required prior to year II: 4.5

Credits Required prior to Year III: 10

Credits Required prior to Year IV: 17

Required documents must be completed and a current physical must be on file to be cleared to participate or tryout for a team at West Linn. Coaches will be emailed a list of athletes who have completed all of the required paperwork.
